Listening to our talented piano students at the Summer Concert 2024 was a truly memorable experience. The wide range of piano pieces was performed with deep emotion and dedication. We had the pleasure of hearing both beginners, who were making their first appearance on stage, and more experienced students who were already familiar to the audience from previous concerts. The pianists presented an inspiring afternoon with a diverse program, spanning various genres and styles. Each student carefully prepared their pieces, sharing their love for music with everyone present. The beautiful Yamaha concert grand piano enhanced the magical atmosphere of the event!

It’s wonderful to see our students becoming more confident on stage with every concert, playing with clear enjoyment. This development is partly due to the regular performance opportunities we provide.

This season was especially remarkable due to the outstanding achievements of Esmée, Sebastian, and Loek. They recently excelled in their European Piano Teachers Association Grade Exams, earning high marks in theory and receiving excellent assessments in their practical exams. We are particularly proud of the two diplomas obtained for Grade D2 and the diploma for the highest grade, Grade F.

Our Summer Concert 2024 also held extra significance as it marked our anniversary concert, in honor of the 20th season of our student concerts—a milestone we proudly celebrate!

Dankzij een gezamenlijke inspanning is er dit jaar opnieuw een indrukwekkende progressie door de leerlingen gemaakt. Specifiek te benoemen zijn de pianistische vaardigheden, muzikale kennis en creatieve groei.
De leerlingen hebben uiting gegeven aan deze vooruitgang met een spetterend concert! De vaardigheden en creatieve groei lieten zich zien in de diversiteit van de gekozen composities. Op het programma stonden pianostukken van Bach, Händel, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann, Liszt, Grieg, Tchaikovsky, Moszkowski, Janáček, Albéniz, Sibelius, Mompou en Gershwin.
De leerlingen speelden in de sfeervolle kerkzaal van Bloemendaal, een kerkgebouw met een hele mooie akoestiek, een zaal waar regelmatig klassieke concerten worden gehouden. De prachtige Steinway & Sons concertvleugel uit 1899 met zijn authentieke klank heeft bijgedragen aan een mooie beleving van de pianomuziek.
Samengevat, een gevarieerd programma, de progressie van de leerlingen en de mooie vleugel hebben dit zeker tot een geslaagd concert gemaakt!
